Welcome to our site for early years and childcare publications.  For authorities and other organisations, our philosophy is simple - our aim is to try and help those in the early years and childcare sector to avoid reinventing the wheel when it comes to developing sources of information such as publications. Working with organisations and local authorities,  we develop materials in partnership, so that they can then  be branded, developed and produced for other organisations and authorities, thus saving time, money and resources for everyone concerned.  The publications listed below (including the popular 'Parenting DevelopmentWheels™') offer you the chance to commission 'customised'' production (with your logo and other details on).  And because all of the research, production and set up work has been done, you can save on the time and costs associated with the development of such specialist publications. For authorities, settings and others working in early years and childcare, 'Training Workshops' are designed to help childminders and staff/partners in settings and children’s centres to develop basic marketing skills to promote their business.  These informal and fun workshops will also benefit others working within early years, with some authorities using them as part of their annual provider training package. The content will help attendees to develop their knowledge of marketing, advertising, communications, customer service and the development and production of publicity materials. These workshops are prepared and are ready and available to present in your local authority area. Produced and presented by chartered marketers at KMMD. Brand your publications and save money and time! 'Customisation' offers local authorities and other larger organisations the chance to ‘brand’ publications with their own logo and contact details. And at a time when budgets are going to be tight, you can save on the costs and time normally associated with the development and production of a new item or publication like those shown on this site - because its all been done! That’s all of the set up work, including copywriting and editing, design, artwork, templates and pre-production tooling. This means much less work for you to do, faster production and less to budget for!  It’s also a good way of getting the information out there for use in your own community, whilst promoting your organisation (for instance you may wish to have copies in each of your settings, in children's centres, or to give to your registered childminders).

KMMD Publishing works in partnership with local authorities and other organisations within the pre-birth, early years and childcare sector. 

Working with qualified professionals and practitioners, we produce the publications with our a partner organisation. Once produced, they are then available to other organisations/authorities to commission their own 'branded'  'customised' production. Given the current economic situation, this enables other authorities and organisations to commission publications for their own use without the time and costs associated with the production of new, but perhaps very similar publications. Most of the publications are also available to purchase without branding, either individually or in smaller quantities.
